Photography back then was only a way to capture something that could be seen but slowly it became a way to capture the feeling and energy of an individual, a moment or a place.

Being Greek and having lived only on islands until my 23rd year, the sun played an important role in my life. I never wondered where the sun was. I knew it would come back and shine brightly on everything I held dear to me.

But what happens when you’re in a place where the weather is always moody? Where it often rains and it’s usually cold? Where can you find the sun?

Well… Everywhere and inside everyone.

The sun is what keeps us going. It’s the source of life.

And this is exactly what I aim to capture. These moments that move us.
